As an emergency veterinarian, I manage poisoned pets on a regular basis and know that time is of the essence for a positive outcome. The Animal Poisons Helpline is such a useful resource for pet owners that enables them to access fast and reliable information if their pet has been poisoned.

Not only does it help owners easily identify a poison risk and provide first aid advice, the Helpline is also dedicated to educating the pet-loving community about poisons in an effort to prevent our furry loved ones from being exposed to them.

I am proud to be the Veterinary Ambassador for the Australian Animal Poisons Helpline charity. The Helpline offers a unique and life-saving service to the pet community and is free to all pet owners.
